What does door-to-door relocation include?

Is door-to-door more expensive than transport-only?
It usually costs more upfront because packing, labour and delivery are included. It often works out similar or cheaper overall once separate packers, loaders and local transport at each end are counted.
Who is responsible if something is damaged?
Because one company handles every stage, responsibility is not split between vendors. Report damage on the delivery sheet, photograph it and follow the written claim process provided before booking.
Can you deliver to a different address than the one surveyed?
A destination change is possible before dispatch but changes distance and cost. Tell the supervisor in writing as early as possible so the vehicle plan and delivery crew can be updated.
Do you deliver on the same day for local moves?
For local door-to-door moves, loading early usually allows same-day delivery and placement. Larger homes may need the full day, and intercity moves follow the transit window in your quote.
